Of couse, there is the Verdi, but the price is out of the ballpark. These are lower-powered (and cheaper) than a 315, but I still think the 315 is the best choice for power/performace vs. Supposedly, these are good for holography (has anyone on this forum tried one?). There is another type of 532nm laser, as I recall made by Uniphase, and called the "microgreen" series or something like that. My advice is to save your money, and buy a 315, which has excellent power and proven holographic performace. So I wouldn't attempt it with a 532nm laser. You can't use an etalon unless you have access to the lasing cavity.
